What Is The Format ?
Entries are taken from all 32 Counties, where you will do battle throughout the Summer months until eventually one Individual / Pair are left standing and declared County Champion/Champions.
You can do battle in the Singles event, or share the pressure, and test your mettle in the Fourball event.
Who Can Enter ?
The 2017 competition is now open to ladies and Gents in the singles, and pairs or mixed in the Fourball event.
County Champions progress to the Grand Finals, hosted at the Fabulous Druids Heath in 2017.
Will The Finals Be Televised ?
The format for the Grand Finals should really get you going. Three days of cut throat competition, which will be Televised until only one man/Lady and one team is left standing and Crowned Irish Open MatchPlay Champion/Champions.
What Prizes Are Up For Grabs ?
Prizes will be awarded to County Champions, and for the overall winners. Prize fund in excess of 13,000 euro

I entered the Irish Open MatchPlay 2014/15/16 and had a fantastic experience. To win it this year with Ted in the fourball is a power feeling !
If you play golf, you have to enter this competition , there is nothing like it !
I'm thrilled to have won this competition this year , it's only dawning on me what i have achieved. Set your goals , write them down and you never know what can happen . I'm over the moon to have won and look forward to defending in 2018. I would encourage all ladies to enter in 2018 , it's a brilliant competition !
